About the job

Airapps is looking for a Backend Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. You will design and build APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript, and manage deployments on Google Cloud Platform.

What you will do

Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
Model data and manage queries with Supabase and PostgreSQL
Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform
Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews
Implement security and reliability measures
Set up monitoring and participate in incident response

What you bring

5+ years in backend engineering
Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
Experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-based services
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
Knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture
Experience with API design and CI/CD pipelines
