About the job

The July is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their leadership team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership to support growth and investment, while overseeing accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and audit functions. You will partner closely with the CEO and COO on business strategy and manage relationships with shareholders, auditors, and lenders.

Lead legal, compliance, risk, and IT functions
Partner with CEO and COO on business strategy
Manage relationships with shareholders, auditors, lenders
Oversee pre-opening and development projects

What you bring

Experienced C-level finance leader in international growing organizations
Strong expertise in treasury, financing, and cash management
Combines strategic thinking with hands-on entrepreneurial approach
Strong business partner translating financial insights into decisions
Inspirational leader building high-performing finance teams
Fluent in English and based in or willing to work from Amsterdam

Nice to have

Experience in accounting, reporting, and business control
Background in hospitality, ideally in a scaling organization
