About the job

Equinix is looking for a Data Center Electrical Critical Facilities Engineer to maintain and monitor critical infrastructure in Amsterdam. You will ensure the reliability of electrical, mechanical, and security systems in a fast-paced data center environment.

What you will do

Maintain electrical, mechanical, security, control, fire and security systems
Monitor alarms and respond to notifications
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Analyze failures and propose improvements
Document work orders in Maximo
Coordinate work and subcontractors

What you bring

Minimum MBO education or equivalent
Electrical or mechanical bias
Work experience as maintenance technician, facility manager, or service engineer
Proficiency in English
Service-oriented and solution-focused
Willingness to work on-call shifts

Nice to have

Dutch language preferred
Experience in project management
