Together AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Cloud Infrastructure team in Amsterdam. You will design and build backend services for hardware management and the IaaS software layer for a new GB200 data center. This role involves working on a global multi-exabyte high-performance object store and performing architecture research for decentralized AI workloads.

What you will do

Design, build, and maintain backend services for hardware management
Design IaaS software layer for a new GB200 data center
Work on a global multi-exabyte high-performance object store
Build observability stacks with automated node lifecycle management
Perform architecture and research for decentralized AI workloads
Create services, tools, developer documentation, and testing frameworks

What you bring

5+ years professional software development experience
Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Golang desired)
5+ years writing high-performance, production-quality code
Experience building and operating high-performance or globally distributed micro-service architectures across cloud providers
Excellent communication skills
Strong systems knowledge across compute, networking, and storage

Nice to have

Deep experience with Kubernetes internals
Deep experience with VMs/hypervisors
Deep experience with DC networking tech and solutions
Experience with Cluster API or similar
Experience with DPUs/SmartNICs
GPU programming, NCCL, CUDA knowledge
