Director of AI Governance

DeepHealth is looking for a Director of AI Governance to lead the development and implementation of AI governance strategies in Amsterdam. This hybrid role involves designing frameworks, policies, and risk management processes to ensure responsible AI use in a regulated healthcare environment.

What you will do

• Develop and implement AI Governance strategies
• Design and maintain AI Governance framework aligned with standards and regulations
• Develop policies and documentation for responsible AI development and deployment
• Integrate AI governance into compliance and risk management processes
• Provide expert advice on AI governance and compliance
• Evaluate vendor compliance with AI-related standards

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in AI compliance, AI governance, or related compliance/risk work in healthcare or highly regulated industry
• Proven experience developing and implementing AI compliance or governance strategies
• Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks and regulations such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and EU AI Act
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality

Nice to have

• Master's degree or advanced certifications such as AAISM, CISSP, CISM
• Completed AI governance coursework
