About the job
DeepHealth is seeking a Director of Data Governance to lead data strategy in a remote role based in Amsterdam. You will define and execute the data governance roadmap, ensuring compliance with policies and standards across the organization.
What you will do
- Define and execute a Data Governance roadmap
- Review and enforce Data Management Policy and Data Governance Charter
- Facilitate decision-making on data standards and resolve cross-functional data conflicts
- Implement Data Quality Management procedures and establish KPIs
- Define enterprise-wide data standards including metadata management and data lineage
- Partner with IT and Security to support AI applications and maintain security boundaries
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Architecture in healthcare or regulated industry
- Strong experience with DAMA-DMBOK frameworks and data quality lifecycle management
- Deep understanding of data profiling tools, metadata management, and modern data stack concepts
- Experience with AI systems in production or product development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to have
- Master's degree or advanced relevant certifications
