Director of Data Governance

DeepHealth is seeking a Director of Data Governance to lead data strategy in a remote role based in Amsterdam. You will define and execute the data governance roadmap, ensuring compliance with policies and standards across the organization.

• Define and execute a Data Governance roadmap
• Review and enforce Data Management Policy and Data Governance Charter
• Facilitate decision-making on data standards and resolve cross-functional data conflicts
• Implement Data Quality Management procedures and establish KPIs
• Define enterprise-wide data standards including metadata management and data lineage
• Partner with IT and Security to support AI applications and maintain security boundaries

Wat je meebrengt

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Architecture in healthcare or regulated industry
• Strong experience with DAMA-DMBOK frameworks and data quality lifecycle management
• Deep understanding of data profiling tools, metadata management, and modern data stack concepts
• Experience with AI systems in production or product development
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
