About the job

Optics11 is a deep-tech scale-up in Amsterdam looking for a Facility Manager to oversee its three locations. You will be responsible for maintenance, budget management, and supervision of facility services.

What you will do

Maintain three locations through maintenance, budget management, and supervision
Perform minor repairs on buildings, installations, and furniture
Supervise external technicians for maintenance and renovation projects
Monitor technical systems and identify improvement needs
Oversee facility services like security, cleaning, and waste management
Ensure proper functioning of access and security systems

What you bring

Practical technical knowledge and experience with maintenance and repairs
Experience managing external service providers or technicians
Problem-solving skills and independence
Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one
Able to communicate in Dutch and English
