About the job
Awin is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead its Developer Experience & Platform team in Amsterdam. You will define and deliver the developer experience vision and strategy, driving AI-native development and cloud platform standardisation.
What you will do
- Define and deliver developer experience vision and strategy
- Lead AI-native development and agentic workflow rollout
- Drive cloud platform standardisation and FinOps practices
- Build and lead teams spanning developer experience and platform engineering
- Establish and track developer experience metrics and KPIs
- Manage developer tools portfolio and budgets
What you bring
- Significant software engineering experience with hands-on coding in Java or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of AI-native software development and AI coding assistants
- Proven leadership in developer experience or platform engineering
- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices
- Experience with CI/CD practices and developer tooling ecosystems
- Strong background in AWS, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud-native architectures
