Adyen is looking for a Head of Global Credit Risk to lead and scale a global team across Amsterdam, Singapore, and Chicago. In this role, you will oversee daily monitoring and high-exposure merchant reviews, act as the final operational escalation for edge-case approvals, and use operational data to influence credit models and risk policies. You will also direct the global collections function and partner with product and second line risk teams.

  • Act as final operational escalation for edge-case approvals
  • Use operational data to influence credit models, risk policies, and risk appetite
  • Direct the global collections function
  • Partner with product and second line risk teams

What you bring

  • 8+ years in a credit risk leadership role in fintech, payments, or banking
  • Deep practical understanding of credit risk for financial products
  • Strong grasp of merchant lifecycle, bankruptcy risk, and lending mechanics
  • Excellent communication skills for executive committees
  • Proactive problem-solving approach

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with capital lending, commercial loans, or charge cards
  • Experience managing global, multi-region teams
