Outpostnow is a well-funded startup seeking a Head of Legal to lead its legal function in Amsterdam. In this hybrid role, you will own all commercial agreements, oversee regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and drive legal strategy for fundraising and international expansion.
What you will do
- Own all commercial agreements, including MSAs, merchant contracts, and partnership deals
- Draft and negotiate contracts directly
- Build contract templates and playbooks
- Oversee regulatory posture across EMI, PSD2, and equivalent frameworks globally
- Oversee and improve merchant onboarding and monitoring framework for AML compliance
- Lead legal on fundraising, corporate governance, and international expansion
What you bring
- In-house legal experience at a payments company or fintech
- Deep experience with EMI/PSD2 and payments regulation
- Experience with commercial contracts in B2B or enterprise contexts
- Experience with AML programme design and implementation
- Experience with fundraising and corporate governance
Nice to have
- Experience with international trade, customs, or cross-border commerce
- Exposure to tax-related regulatory frameworks
- Multi-jurisdictional licensing or market entry experience
