About the job

B Lab is looking for an IT Security & Compliance Lead to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will conduct security audits, manage risk assessments, and maintain the security baseline across the network.

What you will do

  • Conduct security audits and risk assessments
  • Establish and maintain security baseline across the network
  • Track and report security posture and maturity
  • Run security reviews of vendors and technology platforms
  • Coordinate external penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
  • Own and maintain incident response plan and coordinate incidents

What you bring

  • 3+ years in information security, IT governance, risk and compliance
  • Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and compliance
  • Understanding of at least one recognized cybersecurity framework
  • Experience with security audits, risk assessments, and vendor reviews
  • Working knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR and LGPD
  • Hands-on familiarity with cloud and SaaS security

Nice to have

  • Experience in nonprofit, federated, or multi-entity organization
  • Experience with Salesforce security, KnowBe4, or endpoint management tools
  • Experience with Google Vault or similar eDiscovery tools
  • Collaborative style and systems-thinking approach
  • Ability to drive workstreams independently
  • Ability to advise on technology and security strategy
