About the job
Datasnipper is looking for an Information Security Officer to shape and safeguard its security posture in Amsterdam. You will define policies, manage risks, and ensure compliance with key frameworks.
What you will do
- Define, implement, and maintain information security policies
- Operate risk assessments and internal security controls
- Support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other frameworks
- Deliver employee training and awareness initiatives
- Respond to security incidents and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on secure development
What you bring
- 2–5 years of experience in information security
- Ownership of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and audits
- Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
- Understanding of identity and access management, network and cloud security
- Practical experience with vendor risk assessments and third-party due diligence
- Proactive, self-directed mindset with strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with EU security regulations (EU AI Act, Cybersecurity Act)
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, Azure)
- Experience with Vanta
