Pinely is looking for a Lead Quantitative Developer to join their Amsterdam team. In this role, you will own and evolve the strategy codebase while driving alignment with infrastructure and research teams.

What you will do

Own and evolve the team's strategy codebase
Decompose research and production problems into concrete tasks
Grow quantitative developers on the team
Prioritize quantitative developer capacity across competing demands
Drive alignment with infrastructure and research teams
Accelerate the research cycle using in-house AI development tools

What you bring

Strong mathematical and algorithmic thinking
Solid grasp of statistics and probability
Ability to write production-quality C++ and Python 3
Experience delegating technical work
Track record of growing junior and mid-level engineers
Deep systems understanding

Nice to have

Experience with or strong interest in ML/AI tooling in research workflows
