About the job
AFS Energy B.V. is looking for a Risk Officer to join their team in Amsterdam. You will monitor market, credit, and operational risks on a daily basis while supporting the Front Office with trade approvals and credit checks.
What you will do
- Monitor market, credit, and operational risks daily
- Assist Front Office with trade approvals and credit checks
- Maintain and improve risk tools and reports
- Perform analyses using Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Contribute to risk awareness across departments
- Participate in projects to enhance business insights
What you bring
- Degree in Finance, Econometrics, Maths, or similar
- 2 years of experience in risk, finance, financial markets, or energy trading
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Analytical, proactive, hands-on, ethical, and eager to learn
