Verifone is seeking a Compliance Officer to focus on Product and ESG matters. This hybrid role in Amsterdam involves ensuring regulatory compliance and managing sustainability programs for the company's global operations.
What you will do
- Ensure compliance for Verifone Group entities and oversee outsourced compliance and risk activities
- Advise the company on relevant regulatory items
- Manage ESG and Product Compliance Programs
- Educate and coach staff on compliance best practices
- Maintain integrity risk analysis and risk registers
- Coordinate sustainability assessment requirements
What you bring
- Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance
- Experience with regulated manufacturing or hardware environment
- Governance and strategic expertise
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainability reporting and product compliance regulatory framework
- Highly analytical with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Nice to have
- 2-3 years with a law firm, consulting or in-house experience
- Bachelor's degree in law, environmental science, engineering or related discipline
- Relevant professional certification (IEMA, GRI, CDP, ACAMS or equivalent)
