About the job

Maven is looking for a Senior End User Support Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will manage desktop computing solutions and lead the rollout of Ubuntu-managed devices while providing escalation-level support.

What you will do

Manage installation and configuration of desktop computing solutions
Lead rollout of Ubuntu-managed devices
Handle application management including configuration and version control
Provide escalation level support
Facilitate technology setups for new employees and role changes
Maintain AV and video conferencing technology

What you bring

Experience supporting Windows and Linux desktop environments
Strong experience with Ubuntu including full rollout of managed devices
Familiarity with Ubuntu Landscape for management and patching
Knowledge of deployment platforms like PDQ, SCCM, MDT, Intune
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
Experience with automation tools like Ansible

Nice to have

Experience with virtual desktops (Omnissa Horizon preferred)
Experience using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency
