As a Senior Financial Risk Analyst at Adyen, you will play a key role in assessing merchant business models and financial health while driving improvements to the risk management framework. You will collaborate with various teams and communicate credit risk strategies to stakeholders, all within a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Amsterdam.

What you will do

Assess and analyze business models and financial health of merchants, providing credit risk advice
Drive continuous improvement of risk management framework, policies, tools, and processes
Lead projects from beginning to end, collaborating with teams to find optimal solutions
Share credit risk knowledge with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams
Communicate Adyen's credit risk approach to merchants, commercial teams, and regulators

What you bring

At least 5 years of working experience in a financial risk environment
Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across cultures and time zones
Innovative with strong problem-solving capabilities
Able to lead projects and set clear goals and deadlines
Thrive in an evolving, fast-paced environment
Strong data and analytic skills, with experience in SQL, Python, or R considered a plus

Nice to have

Payments or Fintech experience
University degree in business economics, statistics, finance, or quantitative field
