About the job
Polarsteps is looking for an iOS Engineer to join their product team in Amsterdam. You will work on implementing new features and improving the existing iOS app, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers. The role focuses on enhancing app maintainability, resiliency, and extensibility while addressing technical debt.
What you will do
- Implement new features and improve existing ones
- Maintain day-to-day operations of the iOS app
- Work in a cross-functional product team with PMs, designers, and engineers
- Improve app maintainability, resiliency, and extensibility
- Address and prevent technical debt
What you bring
- 3-5 years of iOS development experience
- Experience in an agile team environment
- Pragmatic problem-solving approach
- Strong iOS development background with Swift and legacy Objective-C
- Experience with large apps published on the App Store
- In-depth knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI
Nice to have
- Experience with Swift Package Manager
