Adyen is looking for a Senior Manager, Application Engineering to lead the team that builds and maintains the internal tooling and SaaS ecosystem. This role is based onsite in Amsterdam and focuses on shaping the technical vision and driving platform improvements.

What you will do

Establish short- and medium-term vision for the team
Guide projects from scoping through delivery and rollout
Coordinate tool launches, migrations, and platform enhancements
Maintain secure and scalable SaaS ecosystem
Champion automation and AI roadmap
Oversee SaaS vendor relationships and contract renewals

What you bring

Background leading engineering teams for internal tooling or enterprise applications
Skilled in complex project management
Experience operating enterprise collaboration platforms like Atlassian, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom
Solid architectural understanding of productivity platforms
Familiarity with implementing internal AI or LLM workflows
Security-first mindset with IAM and compliance experience
