About the job

Mollie is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will oversee the health, stability, and scalability of the CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

What you will do

Oversee health, stability and scalability of CI/CD infrastructure
Monitor and respond to outages in CI/CD systems
Develop and implement strategies and governance for CI/CD systems
Optimize CI/CD compute and storage usage for efficiency
Investigate and resolve technical issues with CI/CD tooling

What you bring

Good grasp of CI systems and hands-on experience with Gitlab or similar
Experience with cloud-native deployment and GitOps solutions
Experience with a major cloud provider and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
Comfortable running and monitoring systems on Kubernetes and using Helm
Good problem-solving and investigative skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively

Nice to have

Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform
Previous experience building and operating CI with Gitlab
Previous experience building and operating deployment platforms based on ArgoCD
