About the job
Adyen is a global payments company seeking a Senior Storage Engineer for their Amsterdam office. You will design, deploy, and maintain the storage infrastructure that powers their payment platform.
What you will do
- Design and deploy storage infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain storage systems
- Perform capacity planning and forecasting
- Develop backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
- Troubleshoot storage system issues
- Automate storage provisioning and management
What you bring
- 5+ years Linux systems administration with storage focus
- Experience with enterprise storage systems
- Understanding of RAID, LVM, NFS, iSCSI, multipathing, file systems
- Hands-on experience with enterprise storage and clustering
- Proficiency in shell scripting
- Experience with monitoring tools
Nice to have
- Python, Puppet or Ansible knowledge
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions
