Monumental is seeking a Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join their team in Amsterdam. You will build telemetry for real-time robot monitoring and design core platform architecture. This role involves prototyping components that interface with robot microcontrollers and debugging complex issues across the full stack.

What you will do

Build telemetry for real-time robot monitoring
Design core platform architecture and abstractions
Prototype components that interface with robot microcontrollers
Debug complex issues across the full stack
Write Rust and TypeScript code for real-time robot control
Collaborate with hardware engineers and operators

What you bring

Industry experience building and deploying production systems in multiple languages
Basic familiarity with Linux systems and conventions
Knowledge of common communication protocols like UDP, TCP/IP, and WebSockets
Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive projects start-to-finish
Strong CS or mathematics foundation including geometric thinking and linear algebra

Nice to have

Rust experience
Background as technical founder, CTO, or founding engineer
Demonstrated background of shipping impressive work
