About the job

Monumental is seeking a Software Engineer to join their product team in Amsterdam. In this role, you'll design and build tools for managing a robot fleet, extend internal systems for data viewing and editing, and bring prototypes from operations and manufacturing into production. You'll work closely with hardware engineers, control engineers, and robot operators to solve real-world problems.

What you will do

Understand problems from colleagues and build prototypes
Design and build tools for managing a robot fleet
Extend internal tool for viewing and editing data
Bring prototypes from ops and manufacturing to production
Work with hardware engineers, control engineers, and robot operators
Write production TypeScript and React, debug memory leaks and crashes

What you bring

Built full-featured web apps in idiomatic TypeScript
Proven experience building products in a zero-to-one environment
Eye for good UI and UX design
Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive projects independently
Use coding agents to ship faster but take full ownership
Basic familiarity with Linux systems

Nice to have

React experience
Rust experience
