About the job

Sia is looking for an experienced professional to lead vulnerability and patch management efforts in a hybrid work environment based in Amsterdam. In this role, you will operate and optimize scanning platforms, drive risk-based prioritization, and collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to embed security into workflows.

What you will do

  • Operate and optimize the vulnerability and patch platform for scanning and asset discovery
  • Lead risk-based prioritization of vulnerabilities using analytics and exposure scoring
  • Design, coordinate, and oversee patch management processes balancing security and availability
  • Track remediation SLAs, report on risk exposure, and drive timely closure
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams to embed security into workflows
  • Maintain awareness of emerging threats and translate them into actionable remediation plans

What you bring

  • 6–10 years of cybersecurity experience with focus on vulnerability and patch management
  • Hands-on expertise with Tenable One platform or strong Tenable.io/Tenable.sc/Nessus experience
  • Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking, and attack vectors
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and stakeholder-communication skills
  • English and Dutch communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

  • ISO 27001 knowledge or certification (e.g., Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor)
  • Google Cloud Platform certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
  • Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, or highly regulated/high-availability sectors
