About the job
Singlequantum, based in Delft, is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design and optimize electronics for advanced photon detection systems. You will work on translating prototypes into scalable, production-ready hardware in a high-tech, international environment.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and optimize electronics for photon detection systems
- Build and refine test setups for electrical performance characterization
- Translate prototypes into scalable, production-ready electronics
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and improve electronic components
- Lead outsourcing, specification writing, and documentation
What you bring
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Effective communication across teams
- Ability to turn ideas into working, documented hardware
- Excellent organizational habits for specs and design files
- Desire to improve existing solutions and cost effectiveness
Nice to have
- Board level circuit design
- RF: transmission lines and filter calculations
- Digital electronics: PCB interfaces, fast logic gates
- Electronic measuring setups with oscilloscopes, VNAs, SAs, AWGs
