About the job
Singlequantum is seeking a Production Test Engineer to join their team in Delft. In this role, you will focus on the optical and electrical characterization of SNSPDs and ensure the quality and performance of systems.
What you will do
- Perform optical and electrical characterization of SNSPDs
- Execute quality control and performance validation of systems
- Troubleshoot and solve issues
- Check and maintain characterization setups
- Mount detectors and check cryostat performance
- Communicate with Sales teams about deadlines and quality
What you bring
- Bachelor's or HBO degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Nanotechnology or equivalent
- Precise working attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High sense of commitment and responsibility
- Good time management skills
- Confidence in working independently and practically
Nice to have
- Experience with laser set-ups
- Experience with fiber-based optics
- Experience with Python and automation
- Experience with nanofabrication
- Experience with cryogenics
- Knowledgeable about (quantum) optics
