About the job

Bertelsmann-Jobs in Echt is looking for a Customs Declarant to handle import, export and transit declarations. You will ensure customs processes run smoothly and documentation is compliant.

What you will do

Prepare, process and verify import, export and transit customs declarations
Monitor customs processes and ensure documentation compliance
Collect and validate data for customs declarations
Identify discrepancies and coordinate solutions with stakeholders
Support customs inspections, physical checks and audits
Maintain contact with customs authorities, carriers, customers and internal departments

What you bring

MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level
Good knowledge of MS Office
Affinity with logistics processes and administrative work
Good command of English
Flexible to work in shifts between 06:30 and 21:30 on weekdays

Nice to have

Recognized customs qualification
Experience in customs or international logistics
