About the job
Invisix is seeking an Application Engineer (Device Expert) to join their team in Eindhoven. You will model semiconductor devices and lead device architecture discussions with customers. This hybrid role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities.
What you will do
- Model semiconductor devices from process flows and specifications
- Extract customer requirements and convert them into modeling assignments
- Develop device models and data recipes with the team
- Lead device architecture discussions in customer meetings
- Guide algorithm and software teams on modeling methods
- Adapt to new process technologies and software capabilities
What you bring
- Master's or PhD in physics, materials science, or electrical engineering
- At least 3 years at a tier-1 semiconductor manufacturer or major metrology supplier
- Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor device architecture and manufacturing processes
- Strong Python skills for writing functional code under pressure
- Ability to perform under time pressure with high-visibility stakeholder communication
- Fluent English for customer interaction at all levels
Nice to have
- Experience with optical CD metrology recipe setup
- Inverse problem-solving experience
- Korean or Mandarin Chinese
