KRUSH Labs B.V. in Eindhoven is looking for an Embedded Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality of firmware and hardware integration. In this role, you will analyze project requirements, design test documentation, and execute test scenarios for embedded systems.

What you will do

  • Analyze project requirements for firmware and test benches
  • Design and maintain test documentation for functional coverage
  • Execute test scenarios and report results and progress
  • Identify, investigate, and document defects with reproduction steps
  • Prepare test reports and participate in team meetings
  • Build and maintain verification strategy for firmware and hardware integration

What you bring

  • Technical education in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years QA experience, including at least 1 year in embedded systems
  • Experience testing microcontroller-based systems and single-board computers
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for software/firmware testing
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques, levels, and types
  • Familiarity with embedded communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C

Nice to have

  • Experience with test automation in Python, shell scripting, or C++
  • Familiarity with debugging tools like JTAG or SWD
  • Competence in using measurement equipment like oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers
  • Basic understanding of electronics and ability to interpret schematics
