Cross Border Talents is looking for a Function Owner Engine Diagnostics to join their team in Eindhoven. You will develop diagnostic functions for heavy duty diesel and hydrogen engines. This role involves leading a team of technical experts and creating technology roadmaps for future projects.

What you will do

  • Develop engine diagnostic functions for heavy duty diesel and hydrogen engines
  • Write customer, service, and legal requirements with a team of technical experts
  • Set up FMEA, create and execute risk mitigation plans
  • Plan and follow up on software development, testing, calibration, and validation
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of field issues
  • Create technology roadmap for future projects and advanced technology

What you bring

  • Master degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering
  • More than 5 years of experience in engine and aftertreatment diagnostics including OBD
  • Experience in leading a team of technical experts
  • Six Sigma experience
  • Good English skills

Nice to have

  • DNG and Plato tool knowledge
