About the job

NTS in Eindhoven is looking for a Project Buyer to manage supplier selection, procurement strategies, and material availability for projects. You will work closely with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery.

What you will do

Select and release suppliers based on customer requirements and commodity strategies
Negotiate project packages and monitor the CPR roadmap
Develop and implement procurement strategies with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers
Ensure timely availability of materials by placing and following up on orders in projects
Optimize procurement costs using the Total Cost of Ownership concept

What you bring

HBO-level education, preferably in Technical Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar procurement role with knowledge of machining commodity
Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude for process improvement
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Navision, and affinity with ICT tools
Excellent negotiation and communication skills in Dutch and English
