About the job

NTS in Eindhoven is looking for a tactical buyer to strengthen its procurement team. In this role, you develop and implement local procurement strategies and manage supplier performance. You work in a technical, high-tech environment where precision and innovation are key.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement tactical procurement plans for local procurement packages
  • Segment and consolidate the local supply base, determine preferred and second-source strategies
  • Lead make-or-buy and sourcing issues with decision proposals
  • Draft and negotiate framework contracts, translate into processes and ERP
  • Manage supplier performance, initiate improvement projects, guide audits
  • Manage delivery reliability, cost development, and forecast alignment

What you bring

  • HBO or WO level education in Supply Chain Management, Technical Business Administration, Logistics, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years experience in tactical procurement or supplier strategy in a technical or industrial environment
  • Experience with segment strategy, supplier positioning, and contract strategy
  • Experience with complex negotiations, framework contracts, and performance agreements in a multi-site or global procurement environment
  • Solid knowledge of ERP systems and procurement data for decision-making
  • Strong command of Dutch language in speech and writing
