About the job
Bertelsmann-Jobs is looking for a Customs Declarant to handle import, export and transit declarations in Gennep. You ensure that all customs documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
What you will do
- Prepare, process and verify import, export and transit customs declarations
- Monitor customs processes and ensure documentation compliance
- Collect and validate data for customs declarations
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate solutions with stakeholders
- Support customs inspections, physical checks and audits
- Maintain contact with customs authorities, carriers, customers and internal departments
What you bring
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Affinity with logistics processes and administrative work
- Good command of English
- Flexibility for two-shift schedule (06:30 to 21:30 weekdays)
- Availability to work on Saturdays
Nice to have
- Recognized customs qualification
- Experience in customs or international logistics
