VONQ is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to strengthen the team in Groningen. In this role, you will develop both frontend and backend solutions while collaborating closely with product, design, and QA teams. You will also work on integrating AI capabilities and optimizing existing systems.
What you will do
- Develop frontend in Svelte and backend in Symfony 8
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams
- Integrate AI capabilities, data pipelines, and third-party systems via APIs
- Write clean, testable core code
- Conduct code reviews and improve CI/CD workflows
- Refactor tech debt and optimize database performance
What you bring
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 10+ years of full-stack engineering with PHP (Symfony) and modern frontend (preferably Svelte)
- Strong foundational programming skills
- Expertise with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with cloud architecture (GCP), Docker, and CI/CD
- Dedication to automated testing and clean code
