Destinus is seeking a Project Manager to lead turbojet engine development projects from concept to production in Hengelo. In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of program milestones.

What you will do

Lead turbojet engine development projects from concept to production
Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, milestones, risk registers, and delivery plans
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and align priorities and deliverables
Track project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and drive resolution
Organize project meetings, technical reviews, and customer reviews
Manage customer communication, project reporting, contractual deliverables, and program milestones

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
5+ years of experience managing complex engineering development projects
Experience with gas turbine engines, turbomachinery, propulsion systems, or complex mechanical products
Strong technical understanding to follow engineering discussions and translate progress into decisions
Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, resources, risks, milestones, and customer deliverables
Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent project management tools
