About the job

Get E is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team in Hoofddorp. You will build new features and integrations, own end-to-end delivery, and help maintain system reliability. This hybrid role offers the chance to work on large-scale SaaS products with zero downtime.

What you will do

  • Build new features and integrations with third-party systems
  • Own end-to-end integration and ship own work to production
  • Perform improvements, investigations, and bug fixes for system reliability
  • Create and maintain automated tests
  • Help refine user stories and tasks
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality

What you bring

  • MVP mindset: build, ship, collect feedback, improve
  • Ability to plan ahead just enough before diving deep
  • Work effectively in a team and independently on large-scale SaaS products with zero downtime
  • 3-5 years experience with PHP and/or Java, proficient in one and hands-on with the other
  • Commercial experience with Laravel and/or SpringBoot, proficient in one and hands-on with the other
  • Solid experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and understanding of transactions and isolation levels
