About the job

Flexport is looking for a Staff Engineer to own and evolve its developer platform in Amsterdam. You will create and support CI/CD pipelines, improve developer experience, and steward GraphQL and gRPC ecosystems.

What you will do

Own and evolve the developer platform
Create and support CI/CD pipelines and build tooling
Improve backend and frontend developer experience
Steward GraphQL and gRPC ecosystem
Evolve IAM solutions
Conduct user research with developers

What you bring

10+ years of software engineering experience
Deep full-stack instincts
Strong product instincts for internal users
Expertise in CI/CD, container orchestration, build tooling, GraphQL, gRPC, metrics, and artifact storage
Independent mindset
Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

Experience with data-driven DevX development using DORA metrics
Experience with AWS
Experience with IAM at scale
Experience with Terraform
