Destinus is looking for a Demonstration Operations Specialist to support UAV demonstrations and deployments across multiple countries. In this role, you will operate fixed-wing UAV systems during customer demonstrations and test flights, ensuring aircraft and ground equipment are always ready.
What you will do
- Support UAV demonstrations and deployments across multiple countries
- Operate fixed-wing UAV systems during customer demonstrations and test flights
- Maintain demonstration readiness of aircraft, payloads, and ground equipment
- Support flight preparation including mission planning and risk analysis
- Perform launch, flight, and recovery operations in various modes
- Conduct troubleshooting and field maintenance during deployments
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years operating fixed-wing UAVs in military or defense environments
- Military background required, preferably in aviation or UAV operations
- Strong engineering understanding to work with aerospace teams
- Hands-on experience with ground control stations and telemetry systems
- Experience operating UAVs in manual and autonomous modes
- Valid UAV certifications A1, A2, A3, and Specific
Nice to have
- Experience supporting military exercises or operational deployments
- Fluency in any language besides English
