EVERIENCE is looking for a Commodity Buyer to join their team in Leiden. In this role, you will focus on indirect spend categories, developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships. You will contribute to procurement transformation and identify cost-saving opportunities within an international organization.

What you will do

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories
Lead supplier selection, tender and RFQ processes
Negotiate commercial agreements, framework agreements and service contracts
Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement transformation
Monitor supplier risks and support business continuity

What you bring

Bachelor's degree (HBO level) or equivalent
Several years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management
Experience with indirect spend categories such as IT, professional services, facilities or workforce solutions
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Experience managing tenders, RFQs and commercial contracts
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English

Nice to have

Experience within space, aerospace or high-tech industry
Experience working in a complex international environment
