About the job
Sonic Automotive is looking for a Diesel Technician to join their team in Nederland. You will diagnose and repair GM diesel engines, fuel systems, and electrical components.
What you will do
- Diagnose and repair GM diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions components
- Perform maintenance and repairs on transmissions, drivetrains, and differentials
- Work on electrical and electronic systems including sensors, modules, and wiring
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests using GM-specific tools and software
- Perform brake, suspension, and steering system repairs
- Complete repair orders and assist with recalls and software updates
What you bring
- 1+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Authorization to work in the USA and pass pre-employment testing
