Redwood Software is looking for a Senior Frontend Architect to define the technical direction of their enterprise Design System and UI component library. In this role, you will establish front-end engineering standards and guide architectural decisions across teams.
What you will do
- Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise Design System and UI component library
- Establish and govern front-end engineering standards and best practices
- Lead collaboration with UX and Product Management for architectural specifications
- Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development of complex UI components
- Review, debug, and optimize AI-generated UI code for performance and accessibility
- Drive major UI architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to teams
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience as Senior/Lead Developer or Architect with focus on React and modern UI design
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks like ReactJS, MobX
- Experience with RESTful API consumption and integration
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Proficiency with unit testing and automation tools such as Playwright
