About the job

Catawiki is looking for a Tax Lead to manage both direct and indirect tax compliance processes and to support the company's financial reporting under IFRS. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal teams and external advisors to drive automation and digitisation of tax processes.

What you will do

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance processes
  • Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities
  • Prepare and review tax provisions and reporting under IFRS
  • Support tax audits and inquiries
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Product and Commercial teams on business initiatives
  • Drive automation and digitisation of tax processes

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax Law, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • Professional qualification (CTA, CPA, RA or equivalent) preferred or in progress
  • 3+ years of relevant tax experience in Big 4, law firm, multinational or fast-growing international business
  • Experience in corporate income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, or tax accounting and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch and European tax frameworks
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience in technology, e-commerce, marketplace or platform businesses
  • Dutch language skills
