Join Kraft Heinz's innovation centre in Nijmegen as a Labs/Shelf Life Intern. You will validate shelf life protocols for sauces in new packaging and perform various chemical, physical, and packaging analyses. This internship offers hands-on experience with gas chromatography and flavour analysis.
What you will do
- Validate Sauces Protocol for shelf life in new packaging
- Perform chemical, physical, and packaging analyses
- Perform flavour analysis using gas chromatography
- Create reports on shelf life sauces model and new packaging validation
- Execute practical activities including shelf life tasting and lab analysis
- Share knowledge within innovation centre and other departments
What you bring
- Bachelor or Master student in Food Technology, Quality Management, Process Engineering, Food Chemistry, or Food Microbiology
- Classes in chromatography (GC, HPLC), chemical analysis (titration, Soxhlet), water content, water activity, and rheometer
- Experience in lab analysis
- Curious, eager to learn, able to work independently and in a team, accurate
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load during internship
Nice to have
- Experience in modelling of data
- Dutch or other languages
