About the job
Kraft Heinz is offering a Product Development Internship focused on reducing salt and sugar in products at their Nijmegen location. As an intern, you will screen new ingredients and test their impact on various product aspects. You will work with suppliers and set up experiments to drive innovation.
What you will do
- Screen new ingredients to reduce sugar and salt in products
- Test impact of ingredients on sensory, nutrition, analytical, shelf life, and regulatory aspects
- Reach out to suppliers and work with procurement
- Set up Design of Experiments for experiments
What you bring
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load during the internship
- EU working rights required
- Food Technology third year HBO/Bachelor or Master student with classes on Ingredient Functionality and Product Design or Product Development
Nice to have
- Experience in product development and knowledge on ingredient interaction and functionality
- Knowledge on alternatives to sweetness and savory
- Affinity with nutrition, sensory, and regulatory knowledge
- Other languages are a plus
