What you will do
- Lead research on AAV-tRNA therapies for neuromuscular conditions
- Optimize gene delivery with different AAV capsids and administration routes
- Conduct in vivo and in vitro efficacy studies in rodent models
- Design and execute animal studies for toxicology assessment
- Contribute to next-generation RNA-based therapeutics
- Analyze data and present findings to teams and collaborators
What you bring
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Neuroscience or related field
- Strong background in RNA biology, gene therapy, or neuromuscular disease research
- Based in the Netherlands and able to work onsite in Nijmegen full time
- Track record of independent research with publications or patents
- Proficiency in rodent model handling and molecular analyses
- Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in a start-up environment
Nice to have
- Experience with AAV vectors in neuromuscular disease models
