About the job

Huawei Europe in Rijswijk is looking for a Project Procurement Manager to oversee procurement cost and resources for projects. In this role, you will manage supplier relationships, develop procurement strategies, and drive performance improvements.

What you will do

  • Manage overall procurement cost and resources for the project
  • Identify potential risks and find solutions
  • Develop procurement strategy following company policy
  • Source new suppliers and build supplier map
  • Maintain relationships with supplier CXOs
  • Manage supplier performance evaluations and improvement plans

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience in procurement, subcontracting or contract management
  • Experience negotiating with installation subcontractors, civil contractors or infrastructure suppliers
  • Strong cost analysis skills and advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English
  • Independence, drive, target-oriented mindset, comfortable in fast-changing environment

Nice to have

  • Experience in telecom, energy, BESS/solar, civil works or logistics
  • Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001
  • Experience with framework agreements across multiple countries
