About the job
All Your BI is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build ELT pipelines from on-premises terminal databases into an Azure-based platform. You will develop multi-tenant data architecture, extend internal connector tooling, and work directly with terminal operations staff.
What you will do
- Design and build ELT pipelines from on-premises terminal databases into Azure-based platform
- Develop multi-tenant data architecture on Azure PostgreSQL with database-per-tenant isolation
- Develop and extend internal connector tooling written in Go
- Implement data quality monitoring including gap detection, freshness alerting, and reconciliation
- Map source data from different TOS versions onto shared definitions of moves, calls, and equipment events
- Work directly with terminal operations staff
What you bring
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of production data platforms
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with SQL Server as source system and PostgreSQL as target store
- Experience building and operating ELT pipelines with watermark/incremental or CDC extraction
- Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures
- Cloud data platform experience on Azure
Nice to have
- Go experience
- Familiarity with AKS, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and GitOps (Argo CD)
- Knowledge of container terminal or port logistics industry
- Direct experience with Navis N4 or another TOS
- Multi-tenant SaaS data architecture experience
- Familiarity with declarative, YAML-driven transformation frameworks
