IFS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build AI agent systems. You will work on session management, retrieval, document intelligence, and agentic workflows in a hybrid role based in 's-Hertogenbosch.

What you will do

Build session and context spine with persistence, resumption, and hand-over
Build retrieval and grounding across structured records and documents
Build document intelligence over manuals, engineering drawings, certification directives, and contracts
Build agentic flow runtime for multi-step work with tools
Handle speech and images as first-class input alongside text
Build evaluation harness to gate claims about autonomy

What you bring

Experience with Go and Python
Experience building multi-tenant SaaS solutions
Experience building and scaling AI-native products and applications
Experience with production-grade GenAI solutions including RAG pipelines and agentic systems
Experience with AI frameworks such as Pydantic AI, LangChain, and MCP
Experience with DevOps and cloud-native infrastructure including Docker, Kubernetes, CNCF technologies, and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

Experience optimizing AI services for latency and cost
Experience with specification-driven development
