About the job

Clera is looking for a Founding Product Engineer to join their remote team. In this role, you will take ownership of features from start to finish, working closely with customers and partners to shape the product. The position offers the chance to work across the full stack in a fast-paced, startup environment.

What you will do

  • Own features end to end from hypothesis to iteration
  • Run rapid experiments and build lightweight prototypes
  • Speak with customers, partners, and Sales to identify needs
  • Design tracking and use product metrics to guide decisions
  • Build across the stack with pragmatic architecture choices
  • Take ownership of initiatives and move them forward independently

What you bring

  • At least three years of product engineering experience
  • Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and React
  • Experience owning software from architecture to production
  • Hands-on startup experience and customer-focused mindset
  • German proficiency at B2 level or above and fluent English
  • Comfort using data and metrics for product decisions

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating large language models or building AI-powered features
